(I am ready for the Iowa but am hesitant to get it) I have the NC and do enjoy, sometimes playing it.

North Carolina prefers to be a bit father away than Alabama where she can use her very accurate guns, while Alabama is a better brawler due to great turning and torpedo protections. Play style - Both are US battleships with 9 hard hitting 16 inch guns. Same top speed, but one of the tightest turning circles of a battleship and decent rudder shift. Maneuverability - Alabama wins easily here. Guns - Both are technically the same gun and shells, and do equal damage, but North Carolina has better accuracy (sigma). That said, the torpedo belt might make the Alabama an overall less appealing target for a CV to strike, marginally worse AA. Fully speced out you get a 100 AA rating on NC and 99 on Alabama. Also Alabama is a somewhat smaller target with a bit more armor in most places.ĪA - North Carolina is slightly better as she has a slightly larger percent of long range AA. Hull - NC has slightly more health, but Alabama takes a lot less Torpedo damage from hits on her side (torpedo buldge).
