Trav however drops all kinds of shit from good jewelry to skiller charms, runes, and gear. Duri and Meph aswell drop gear but not so much runes. Countess tops out at Ist which is great early season but meh middle to end season. While Andy dropped ok loot, never any high runes.
Here's what I discovered about High Rune Drops: (In softcore, never botted hardcore only softcore) One cleared countess and andariel the other Duri and meph then they both would clear trav then chaos and baal. When etal came out I figured "awe what the hell" bought 12 sets of cd keys, had 4 sorces up and going in 2 games.
and well I never found any high runes except a Lo and an Ohm in about a year and half of playing A LOT of diablo 2.
I played a chr into the mid to high 90's which if you grind you know takes 1000's not just 100's of runs. I rarely traded, I never followed bots, no d2jsp. I prided myself on playing legit hardcore. I really wanted to get a sense of high rune drops about 2 years ago.
